Abstract
Criticism in literature is the name of Khair Kal in search of deep understandings. For which light comes from study. Criticism has made its own rules at the present time. While the new generation has brought revolutionary changes in their minds, which have been distilled from ancient literature. Access to new insights is now essential for readers. In this context, Hali's method of criticism proved to be very useful and articles were published in magazines and journals after this critical discussion started. In which new aspects of European criticism came out in the principle of criticism, which also affected Urdu literature. Which included information on the meanings of criticism, the position of the critic, its need and basic conditions.
