Abstract

This study investigates the pivotal role of emotional intelligence (EI) in optimizing employee performance and satisfaction within university settings. Conducted in the Malakand Division. The study sampled 885 employees from universities in the Malakand Division, specifically: University of Malakand, University of Swat, University of Chitral, University of Bunir, and UET Swat, out of a population of 1956. A mixed-methods approach was employed, integrating quantitative survey data with qualitative insights to investigate the relationship between EI, performance, and satisfaction.
