Abstract

As the world faces significant environmental and social challenges, businesses must start doing things sustainably. This systematic literature review aims to explore the dynamic landscape of sustainable business, analyzing emerging trends and confronting the challenges ahead. Drawing from a diverse range of 417 scholarly studies, the chapter outlines the evolution of sustainable business practices and identifies key contemporary trends, including circular economy models, technological integration, stakeholder engagement, and the emphasis on business models and ESG metrics. Moreover, it encourages a proactive stance in embracing change, innovation, and ethical considerations. This Study offers insights and strategies for navigating these challenges, promoting meaningful change, and having an impactful role in shaping a sustainable future for businesses and society.
