Abstract

All developed countries and civilized societies of the world have appropriate laws and effective accountability system for human life. This is the reason that those countries and societies provide the best lifestyle to their residents. In the same way, if the teachings of all world religions is studied, the fact becomes clear that all the religions not only teaches and encourage accountability, but also strongly urge and encourage them so that the society does not fall victim to disorder, irregularity and lawlessness. Religious teachings and this impression of the Immortal prove that with the presence of an effective and active system of accountability in the country and society, the human being is not permitted for their own freewill and wish, but begins to live on earth as a responsible entity because he understands that his actions are recorded and written accordingly. The human being does understand that their actions are not without results. It is fact that he believe that every human action has an effect, whether that action is good or bad. Its results will be show to man, and he will surely get the reward for his actions. It is worth mentioning that if all human beings believe on the existing of accountability system would never violate the laws and defined norms of the human society.Accountability is the key for Stability and Sustainability 47 Each and every one will consider himself accountable to the law because no one above the law. The rulers cannot even imagine that they can usurp or limit and suspend the rights of the subjects, no matter how much their power is threatened? Because they know that they will be asked about what they did? Due to the concept of accountability, the ruler can sacrifice their authority even their life, but he cannot dare to violate human rights. In this article the basic concept and teachings of world major religions i.e. Judaism, Christianity and Islam have been discussed in detail.
